Our 2027 tour will run in Colombia at the end of February, 2 weeks of flying and learning as a family. We are very pleased to count on this tour with the support of Frank Henriquez, Hernan Carreño, Ruard de Bruyn and Albaro Araujo.

We start in Cali where we will pick you up at the airport and begin our learning journey through the Cauca Valley (one of the best flying areas in the world), our agenda is as flexible as our learning curves, our idea is to use each of the flying spots we will visit to improve a particular set of skills required for each type of flying.

We are all about service and providing comfort so you can focus on improving your flying, our tours are run by a talented group of butlers. You will be taken care of by 1 driver, 3 to 4 AirButlers.

We will have a maximum of 4 flyers per Airbutler.

Transportation/retrieve, accommodation at hotels with hot water and maximum comfort possible, breakfast, ground butlers, AirButlers, seminars and discussions, flight analysis and daily briefings.

Insurance, glider, radio, vario/gps and your will to learn.

We try to live a Colombian experience, nonetheless we have learned our lesson and will have our accommodations in the best hotels across the Cauca valley with hot water (2 persons maximum per room).

During the tour we will be using most of the time our bus, sometimes the use of Jeep Willis makes a very unique local experience to reach remote takeoffs.

We will move freely along the Cauca Valley to maximize flying conditions, our preferred sites are:

Piedechinche: Is not even a town; it is the name of the mountain where we fly. The closest town is named Santa Elena. A 35 minutes drive from our accommodation to the Take off. A very nice launch, with the perfect angle, good wind and very good conditions for cross country, incredible mountain and valley flying. Also landing close to our accommodation is an option after a cross country FAI triangle.

Roldanillo: Famous for being the place that hosted two world cups and the 2015 FAI World Championship, it is the ideal place to fly long cross country distances and improve your cross country flying skills. With perfect conditions, soft winds and full of thermal activity in the flat lands and the mountains.

Ansermanuevo: Located about 35km north of Roldanillo, is the last town in the Valle del Cauca State. It’s the perfect place for long flights south on north wind days or tactical mountain flying north on south wind days.
