Our founder, Carlos Cordido has been flying for a long time, it all started in 1992 when his father discovered the sport through a friend. In 1993 his brother started flying at the age of 13. Carlos' parents realized that young kids could handle the pressure and decision making necessary to fly safely so in 1994 at the age of 11 Carlos started flying. After that the family never stopped flying together, competing in the Venezuelan national leagues and traveling together.

Carlos' brother, Herminio went on to the acro world and invented some of the most difficult maneuvers at the time, like The Misty and Tumbling. He also starred in one of the most successful paragliding documentaries 'Never Ending Thermal' and continues to amaze us with great flying expeditions like 'Self Induced Halo'.

Carlos on the other hand decided to focus more on Cross Country flying, especially on racing. His favorite place to fly and race is the Cauca Valley in Colombia. Some of his best performances were:

• 3rd Place at paragliding World Cup Brazil 2012
• 5th place at Paragliding World cup France 2012
• 3rd Place Nation (Venezuelan Team) at the FAI Paragliding World Championship, Sopot Bulgaria 2013
• Venezuelan National Champion 2014

Carlos then went on to flying tandems in Vancouver Canada and Cape Town, South Africa and guiding in Colombia and Spain. After all these years flying and taking care of pilots and passengers Carlos decided to take it to the next level and developed AirButlers.
